Applications

This type of wire is used in the internal wiring of electrical panels and distributors. The use of these wires in conduits and beneath plaster is permitted. Wires with stranded conductors (Group 2) can be used as electrical connections in underground ducts, machinery, control panels, and control equipment.

 

Structure

Conductor: Annealed copper, Group 1 (solid single core) or Group 2 (stranded) according to IEC Standard 60228 or ISIRI 3084.
Insulation: PVC blend of type C/PVC.
 

Standard

• IEC 60227 or ISIRI 607 with a nominal voltage of 750/450 volts for cross-sectional areas greater than 1 square millimeter. • IEC 60227 or ISIRI 607 with a nominal voltage of 500/300 volts for cross-sectional areas of 0.75, 1.0, and 5.0 square millimeters.
